1-Step Glucose Challenge Test :

  • This is a non-fasting approach where a pregnant woman is provided with a 50-gram glucose drink to consume.

  • Following the consumption of the glucose solution, the woman's blood sugar levels are measured after one hour.

  • Your Health care provider then starts interpreting Glucose challenge test results and if the blood sugar level exceeds the normal range, it may suggest the necessity for additional examinations to diagnose gestational diabetes.
