Cytopathology involves Microscopic examination of smears of cells from all over the body (cervix, FNAC, Fluids) for evidence of inflammation, cancer, and other conditions.

Common tests performed in cytopathology are:

• Pap smear
• FNAC
• Sputum or fluid for cytology
